Automatic Cylinder Cleaning

The Baldwin cleaning systems are designed for automatic cleaning of different cylinders in the printing press. The proven systems consist of a compact cleaning unit, a supply unit as well as a micro processor control unit with different cleaning programs. Depending on the application and press type the cleaning process can be carried out with PREPAC wash cloth, which is already soaked with cleaning agent or with conventional dry cloth. When using the PREPAC wash cloth in a Baldwin cleaning system, no additional input of cleaning solvent is necessary as all required cleaning agent is already contained in the cloth. Upon use of conventional dry cloth the required amount of water and cleaning solvent will be sprayed into the wash cloth, according to the selected wash program.
