Automated Guide Roller Cleaning Systems

The system is a closed system. This means a minimum of chemical waste and emissions. The automatic system eliminates hazardous manual work. The applicator ensures a minimum of spillage and a controlled wash sequence. The applicator functions independently of the web width (1/4, 1/2, 3/4, 1/1). The brakes are self-adjusting and maintenance costs are very low.

The cleaning system effectively removes ink and paper fibers. The applicator applies the right amount of solvent - adjusted to the individual press - on a web, which is then run at crawl speed through the press. On its way it passes the guide rollers. Each roller is fitted with a self-adjusting brake that intermittently stops the roller and the friction between the soaked paper and the roller removes the unwanted build up. The system offers a cleaning cycle after production in approx. 10 minutes, so soon - since all webs remain in position during the cleaning process - you are up and running again at full speed.
